Day 1: Dublin Tour & Guinness Storehouse
Day 2: National Stud & Kilkenny
Visit the
Irish National Stud to learn about thoroughbred horses and walk through the Japanese Gardens. Stop at a traditional farmhouse to meet the owners and enjoy tea and scones. After dinner you may check out
Kilkenny’s pubs. (B, D)
Day 3: Waterford Crystal & Blarney
Visit the House of
Waterford Crystal to see how this magnificent glass is created. Then head to
Blarney Castle to kiss the “Stone of Eloquence.” Shop at the
Blarney Woollen Mills or stop in the pub located between the shops. Travel to Killarney and check in to your hotel. (B, D)
Day 4: Ring of Kerry Tour
Explore one of Ireland’s most popular scenic areas - the
Ring of Kerry. Watch a farmer work with his sheepdogs to control sheep. Visit the
Skellig Experience to learn about offshore islands. Head to
Kate Kearney’s Cottage for a fun dinner with local musicians. (B, D)
Day 5: Cliffs of Moher & Connemara
Take a ferry ride across the River Shannon to visit the
Cliffs of Moher for wild, sweeping views. Continue north past Galway and Connemara’s hills and lakes. End your day in
Westport. (B, D)
Day 6: Westport House & Achill Island Excursion
Tour the stately 18th century
Westport House to see priceless treasures in an elegant setting. Travel to
Achill Island, joined to the mainland by a bridge, to enjoy great scenic golden beaches and rugged cliffs. Return to Westport to explore some of the cozy pubs, if you wish. (B, D))
Day 7: Kilbeggan Distillery & Brazen Head Pub
Travel to the
Kilbeggan Distillery Experience to see distilling processes in18th century buildings and enjoy an Irish coffee. Drive to your hotel in Dublin and head to dinner and some lively Irish music in the
Brazen Head Pub, Dublin’s oldest. (B, D)
Day 8: Tour Ends Dublin Airport
Take a taxi transfer to Dublin Airport in good time for your flight home. (B)
